I’m very excited to be starting the next phase of my veterinary career on the ER floor at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital and ER.
I’m passionate about veterinary medicine and enjoy the opportunity to learn new things every day in this field - there’s never a dull moment. I just returned home to Virginia after spending the last 2.5 years in southeast Florida working as an ER clinician in the specialty referral setting. After spending so many years in school away from family and friends, I’m excited to be home again working with such a wonderful team at CPAH.
I will miss the beautiful flora and fauna of Florida, but there is so much to look forward to in the VA/DC metro area. I’ll enjoy living right next to the WWOD bike trail where I’ll have a beautiful place to go running, biking, paddle-boarding during the warm months. Being so close to a metro stop gives me access to all the live music, delicious international food, summer markets, and DC Commanders football games I can stand; and hopefully some fun paint-n’ sip nights too! During the cold winter months, a good book or movie and my two goofy furball felines are just about all this girl needs.
