Dr. Dingley has had a special place for animals in her heart for as long as she can remember. Throughout her time in high school and college, she excelled at and enjoyed science but wasn't sure if she had what it took to get into vet school. However, her time spent as a veterinary assistant at the beginning of the pandemic confirmed that this was the path for her, no matter what it took. She submitted her vet school applications and graduated from St. John's University with her bachelor's in science early, allowing time to prepare for veterinary school.
Dr. Dingley attended Long Island University for veterinary school, and her passion for emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and preventative care grew throughout her time there. Originally from New Jersey, she has grown to love the DC metro area and exploring DC. When not at work, you can find her visiting family, traveling, or hiking, and she particularly loves spending time in the Adirondack Mountains in the summer.
