Dr. Delia Large-Hart is a veterinarian at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital & Emergency Center, where she practices emergency medicine and surgery. She began her career conducting Parkinson’s research before transitioning into veterinary metabolic and reproductive disease diagnostics for 14 years. She later earned her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she developed a strong hands-on foundation in surgery and community medicine.
Dr. Large-Hart has a special interest in emergency care and surgery, enjoying the challenge of diagnosing complex cases and helping pets return to a healthy, active life. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals shaped her deep compassion and commitment to advocating for patients who cannot speak for themselves. Outside of work, she enjoys ultramarathon running and riding her horse, Mardi Gras.
